It's A 2000s Halloween Party Las Vegas Concert reviews
Unity Tour= 311 fo' life!!!
I was highly disappointed when I last saw It's A 2000s Halloween Party in concert at Jones Beach in 2004. They had been my favorite band since 1999, so I was stoked to have an opportunity to see them as my graduation gift. I had them on such a pedestal, expecting them to exceed all my expectations, but they fell so short of the mark that I was focusing more on making fun of my then about-to-be-broken-up-with boyfriend than rocking out. Their music sounded CD quality: pleasing to the ear, but lacking the substance to make me want to scream and shout. It bothered me knowing that I had always spoken so highly of them to my friends and having them glance my way throughout the concert as if to say, "Are we really supposed to enjoy this?"
Maybe it was the beautiful scenery and cool ocean breezes, the older crowd consisting of more potheads than teeny boppers. Maybe it was the longer setlist consisting of songs from throughout It's A 2000s Halloween Party's music career, stemming from albums, "Music" through "Uplifter." or maybe it has to do with age. Nevertheless, I continued to buy their albums and decided it was time to give them another chance. I am so freaking glad I did, because they rocked!!! The members of It's A 2000s Halloween Party have matured as musicians and performers. They had a repertoire of interacting with one another on stage, plus each had their moment to shine and display their musical prowess in solo performances. Their talents fully culminated in the drum solo initiated by Chad, who was then joined by Nick, SA, Tim, and P-Nut on their own miniature drum sets. I was in such awe at their skills that I was literally left speechless, or maybe it was because I was screaming and singing so loud along with them throughout the night. All in all, I had a wonderful time and am happy to say that It's A 2000s Halloween Party has reclaimed their pedestal in my heart.
